VAF 0.1.0a27 and 0.1.0a28: one inbox for every channel
In 0.1.0a28 WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord and mail threads sit in one list and four tools go; 0.1.0a27 adds five interface languages.
0.1.0a27 and 0.1.0a28 are out. The inbox carries WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord chats beside mail threads in one list, every row with where it stands: unread, waiting for the owner, done. vaf inbox list prints the same rows in the terminal, and the agent reads them through one tool instead of four.
vaf updateTwo features are new:
- The interface speaks seven languages: Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai have joined, each with all 1747 message keys, and signing in and first-run setup follow them. In Thai, dates render in the Buddhist era until that is pinned deliberately.
- Appointments live in a calendar of VAF's own, and the agent's four calendar tools work on it without a connected account. Google and Outlook are sync sources now.
One bug is fixed:
- A Telegram message from a contact counts as a contact's message, even when it starts with a voice message. The agent used to treat it as the owner's, with the owner's full set of tools.
The number linked by QR code is the agent's, not your own. Existing installs lose that registration on the next connect and get a notification about it. Anyone who wants to reach the agent over WhatsApp enters their own number in the setup wizard, which notes there that WhatsApp does not allow automated use of a regular account.
