How it works
One installer, four steps.

Clone and install. The installer sets up a Python venv, all dependencies, the web UI and a container engine for you (Colima on macOS, Rancher Desktop on Windows, your distro’s Docker on Linux).

Pick server mode. On Linux the installer asks once: Desktop for personal use, or Server for an always-on, LAN-reachable service that starts at boot.

Confirm it runs. One prompt from the terminal, then the web UI. Your team signs up from their browsers.

Stay current. vaf update fetches the latest release, migrates, and rolls back automatically if any step fails.
